“Learning to grow is the most human thing we can do.”
Growing up, I've always thought of myself as a more creative person than an academic one. Building things with Legos and playing video games with my brothers took up a large portion of my childhood. However, having an active imagination, it was hard to stay focused in primary school, as I would get lost in my own head. With a decade of special education support and positive motivation from my peers, teachers, and family, I was able sharpen my educational tenacity and use my creativity to complete my secondary school education and post-secondary bachelor's degree in business administration. I am currently employed at Enterprise Mobility, where I leverage my creative outlook and Business Administration background to continue advancing my career. I thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, where I always try to better myself and build a strong referral network, and I strive to bring my creative outlook to all aspects of my life. And continue to pursue my passion for artistic outlets in traditional arts and architecture.
It's not about your disabilities or what obstacles you face; it’s what you do in spite of those roadblocks that will define you.
Art is not just something that can be experienced in a gallery behind glass. I feel that if it can move you, bring you joy, fear, or unease, then that is truly art.
